Media Voices are delighted to reveal the winners of the inaugural Publisher Newsletter Awards, following a ceremony which took place on Monday 17th July at Colours Hoxton in London.
The awards are a celebration of the newsletter success of publishers and media organisations, whether they’ve been in the space a while, or have just launched.
From over 150 entries and a strong shortlist of 114 newsletters, our judges marked the newsletters on a range of factors, including editorial quality, how well the newsletter reflected the publisher’s brand, and strategies to grow the audience.
“A great newsletter should have all the elements of a mini magazine: it should have a strong editorial voice, be well curated, and form an ongoing relationship with the reader,” said Awards Manager Joanna Cummings. “All the entrants to the awards – not just the winners – show that when it comes to maximising the potential of this often underrated but important form of media, publishers are leading the charge.”
