For over four years, the Media Voices team has been producing a weekly podcast. That hasn’t always been easy – we’ve recorded from car parks, hotel rooms, under blankets, and the odd auditorium – but the three of us love recording and editing the episodes for you.
For the past two years, we’ve made enough to keep the lights on, but we have ambitions for Media Voices beyond it being a weekend focus.
Every week, we talk about the business of media; what works, what doesn’t, and everything in between, and when something is working, we’ll steal the idea for ourselves. We’ve launched weekly and daily newsletters, live events, awards, and sold sponsored content. We practice what we preach, and for the last few years, we’ve been preaching the virtues of direct audience revenue for newspapers and magazines.
